HMS GANGES GOLF SOCIETY

If you have an official club handicap (WHS) then that is what will be used by the Ganges Golf Society. If you have estimated your handicap, it will be adjusted by the "Handicap Secretary" after each game - up or down as necessary.

Your handicap below will subsequently be changed taking into account the course "Slope Index" at the clubs we play at. This can result in you getting more or less shots, depending on the difficulty of the course.

EG: The slope index at our first game of the season at Ombersley is 109 and that indicates a much easier course, which will result in you playing with a lower handicap. (A 30 handicapper for instance, would play off 24 and a 20 handicapper would play off 14)

Your course handicap (Allowing for the slope index) for the next fixture will be displayed here and also on the "Fixtures Page"
